Students pursuing
BBA(Retail) from IGNOU had a
Industrial visit at MYDAS RETAIL STORE
Students
of BBA(Retail) IGNOU, Fashion Technology & IT from NCVT had a
Industrial Visit on 20th Nov’2013 at MYDAS (Retail Store), Shri
Krishna Impex (Fashion Technology) & CHIP (Information Technology )
companies.
The
students visited the entire live operations of the companies. During their
visit the respective experts explained and apprised them the process &
steps involved in the acitivities. After the visit the students went to
respective company wherein they had live practical exposure its activity.
In
MyDAS Store,the Retail students where divided into 2 groups and asked to play
the role of seller/buyer concept. In Shri Krishna Impex, Fashion Technology
Unit, they were asked to do the pattern making and Stitching of a Skirt and in
the CHIP the students where asked to assemble a CPU which was demonstrated to
them earlier. The feedback from the students was highly motivating as they
liked the practical exposure and requested for more such visits as they could
learn many things in a very short span of time.
